St Constantine and Helena in brief
This is the oldest resort on the Bulgarian coast, and it shows: instead of a boulevard of tower blocks, an old park of pines and plane trees drops down to small coves, dotted with thermal mineral springs and a monastery that gave the place its name. Just a few kilometres north of Varna, it's a calm, green, unmistakably spa- and balneo-focused destination — for anyone who wants the sea without the noise.

Getting there
The nearest airport is Varna, about 10 km south (roughly 15–20 minutes by car, approximate) — the best-connected resort on the north coast. City buses run regularly from Varna in season. From Romania, take the coast road via Durankulak and Balchik.

- Come here for spa and balneo, not nightlife — the profile is decidedly calm.
- Being close to Varna, it pairs easily with a city break (museums, seafront, cathedral).
- The shoulder season (May, September–October) is ideal: the thermal water and balneo hotels work well beyond the summer peak.
- Check Evksinograd's visiting arrangements ahead of time — access is limited.
